OatDerma is the result of two years of development, harnessing the natural power of oats. The skin nourishing blend of two star ingredients will leave sensitive skin soothed and hydrated.

Colloidal oatmeal is rich in beta-glucan and avenanthramides which are clinically proven to help soothe and gently nourish the natural balance of delicate skin.

Now on to the oat oil, this ceramide rich ingredient helps the skin to absorb and retain moisture. Dry skin can often be lacking in natural skin ceramides, so the oat oil is perfect for sensitive skin.

So, you ask, what are these long words and what do they do…

– Beta-glucan: a sugar which binds water into the skin, making it an even more effective moisturiser
Avenanthramides: are antioxidants that exist exclusively in oats which reduce irritation and redness on skin
– Lipids and oils: form a protective barrier on the skin to keep out external elements and maintain skin hydration
– Ceramide rich oat oil: Ceramides are a major component of skin lipids. Oat oil acts as an occlusive and a humectant, absorbing and retaining moisture in the skin.
